Greater Richmond, Virginia Domestic Rabbit Rescue

 

We’re a foster-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping domestic rabbits in the RVA area through adoption, fostering, and education.

 

Founded in 2023 after an unexpected “bunny boom,” we stepped in when we saw how often rabbits are abandoned without proper care due to misinformation and a lack of rabbit-equipped shelters.

 

Since then, we’ve helped 87 rabbits find loving homes, with 20 currently in foster care thanks to our incredible volunteer families.

 

Before you reach out:

 

We do not sell rabbits. A $150 adoption fee helps cover food, housing, and veterinary care.

 

We work with shelters and rescues and do not take owner based surrenders.
